In the last few years, due to the progress of microelectronics and artificial intelligence, mixed with high home connectivity, a big advance happened in both quantity and quality of robotics artifacts available to the customer.
In society, we find robotic artifacts for rehabilitation purposes, for driving assistance, or for the aeronautical and motoring industries. We find robots with the capability to strengthen the sales of a determined product in a business, although the major “boom” is related to leisure robots.
Lots of this robotic artifacts present elevated communication skills with their own users, being able to transmit and understand human emotions. For this purpose, it’s usual for them to have an easy learning stage, by using voice commands and sound recognition.
